Teori Perubahan Zat (Al-Istihalah) dari segi istilah fiqh ialah perubahan hakikat sesuatu dengan cara hilang sebahagian atau keseluruhan konsepnya.sesetengan ulama fiqh mendifinisikannya sebagai perubahan tabi'at sesuatu. Berdasarkan istilah saintifik pula ialah Tindakbalas kimia yang merubah sesuatu bahan menjadi bahan yang lain seperti perubahan minyak dan lemak yang diperolehi daripada pelbagai sumber kepada sabun.
Hukum-hukum yang perlu diperhalusi oleh semua umat Islam:Sila beli dan baca 2 buku di atas.
i-Halal Gelatin daripada babi.
ii-Halal mengguna bulu babi sebagai benang jahitan atau bulu berus gigi.
iii-Halal sabun yang diperbuat daripada lemak babi.
iv.Halal campuran Pepsin bangkai atau babi dalam keju
v-Halal menampal sementara kulit babi pada tempat kulit yang melecur terkena api.
